On December 17th, 2018, Camerich Miami welcomes the renowned Sheryl Sandberg, COO of Facebook, to speak at an event, Lean In Latinas. The purpose of the event is to promote Sandberg’s latest book, Lean In. Lean In was created in response to Sandberg’s overwhelming popularity from her 2010 TEDTalk on ways women are held back.
In this book, Sheryl Sandberg shares her personal stories, as well as research to shine light on gender differences, and offers advice to help women on how to achieve their personal goals. The book also addresses a movement, Lean in Circles: A place where women can be unapologetically ambitious. To give voice to the dreams and find the encouragement to start chasing them. A place for sharing ideas, gaining skills, seeking advice, and showing solidarity.
The event hosted approximately 300 guests. Congratulations to Camerich Miami for pulling off this highly successful and meaningful talk!
